The South Korean manufacturer introduced this year, one of the most advanced smartphones available in the market right now., the Samsung Galaxy S4. Like its predecessors the S4 has gain popularity really fast although is facing stong competition. The device was praised for its hardware and software specifiacations but it is also criticized for the lack of creativity regarding the design and components quality. Now the market is shifting attention towards the upcoming flagship phone of Samsung, the Galaxy Note 3 we have spoked before.

The Note line-up series like S series has been enjoying fantastic success. With an oversized display and the increasing popularity of the ‘phablet’ concept, Samsung is trying to keep hitting the market with the new Note. Currently there is no confirmation whether Note 3 will come up with new improved innovative tech and software features comparing with Galaxy S4. We’re left with the rumors till the Korean manufacturer will make any announcement on Note 3.

Powerful processors

Though Samsung Galaxy S4 one of the most powerful smartphone in the mobile market right now, we hope Note 3 is going to bring tough challenge to it. Samsung Galaxy S4 comes up with a Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor running at 1.9 GHz and in some regions Samsung offers PowerVR SGX 544MP3 GPU and the new Exynos 5 Octa 5410 processor. In former, SGS4 also presents Adreno 320 graphics and it also offers two quad-core chips for a total of eight cores. Moreover, there is Cortex-A15 architecture in one of the quad-core units and it is clocked at 1.6GHz and another quad-core is of Cortex-A7 type and its frequency is 1.2 GHz. The news about Note 3 is that this ‘phablet’ will come up with an Exynos 5 Octa Core without considering the retail market. Note 3 will present one model, one processor and the CPU will come along a Mali 450 graphics chip boasting 8 cores

Memory and RAM capacity

For the U.S market, only the 16GB model of Galaxy S4 has been available and CNET soon informed that Smasung is planning to expand its storage up to a 32GB model, that it will be available for AT&T customers on May 10. Furthermore it is expected that Note 3 will offer more storage options than Samsung Galaxy is offering in U.S. The Korean manufacturer might plan to increase the storage of the Note 3 model, as the ‘phablet’ is said to offer 32GB storage. Regarding the RAM amount, some sources have informed that the Note 3 phablet might offer 3GB of memory as compared to 2GB offered by Samsung Galaxy S4.

Glass display vs. Plastic flexible display

Reagrding the display of Samsung’s Note 3, some rumors says that the display size will be 5.99 or even 6.0 inches and Note 3 will have a full-HD Super AMOLED display with diamond pixel structure like the Galaxy S 4.
But the most interesting rumors lately are claiming that Note 3 is going to be the first phone in the world using the plastic OLED flexible display technology. The plastic OLED technology is different from the Youm flexible curved and rollaway display technology presented at CES in January. Though Samsung has announced last week that flexible display commercialization will suffer some delays and most probably the company can’t face mass production right now.
Also the OLED Association is supposing that maybe Samsung will produce the Note 3 with flexible plastic displays for some exclusivist markets while the rest will get the classic glass display.
And as many customers seem unhappy with design and use of cheap plastic in the Galaxy S4, hopefully Note 3 won’t disappoint them.

It is expected that Note 3 will be a more powerful and better-equipped phone than the Galaxy S4. With the growing demand for build quality, Samsung is adopting new design philosophy and hopefully Note 3 will come up with innovations in this chapter.
It is expected that the manufacturer will unveil the Note 3 in September, at Berlin’s IFA 2013.

So you still have to wait for the mysterious Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and if you consider to buy the upcoming device, just don’t forget that you’ ll have the possibility to unlock the phone and use it with any convenient GSM network.

Samsung has introduced the Galaxy S4 in two different configurations one equipped with much-hyped Exynos Octa-core and the other identical twin has employed a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600. When comparing the particular version of Samsung’s flagship with the Snapdragon 600 powered model, both look very identical but on close observation of intricate antenna, slight differences come into appearance. Both devices have very different boards but Samsung has managed to keep the same design in every other aspect.

Depending on the processor, S4 can be seen in four different versions:
• GT-19500 having the Exynos 5 Octa 5410 chipset clocked at 1.6GHz
• dual-SIM I9502 for China offering the same specifications;
• SHV-E300, the Korean dedicated version with the same chip clocked at 1.8GHz
• I9505 that use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 600 clocked at 1.9GHz.

The Korean model can be caught from three major operators in South Korea. The Exynos-powered I9500 is presently not available in North America but an online retailer, Negri Electronics is having Octa-core device in stock.
The Galaxy S 4 stands as the very first device that features the homegrown Exynos 5 Octa 5410 chip, which is an eight-core CPU with amazing Technologies Power VR SGX 544MP3 GPU and 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and the 5410′s eight processing cores set up in RAM.

The purchase decision depends on whether you are interested in LTE or not. Unlike the Snapdragon version, the Samsung Octacore version doesnt support LTE so no 4G. The I9500 is capable of using quad-band HSPA+ and quad-band GSM / EDGE and the Exynos 5410 has a radio that can support up to 20 different global LTE frequencies.

Moreover there are four energy-efficient Cortex-A7 cores as well as four high-performance Cortex-A15 cores in LITTLE architecture style. Jobs that require power up to 1.2GHz will be handled by the A7s; if more power is needed then the A15s will turn on. There are total four cores capable of even operating at 200MHz.

The Korean SHV-E300 offers good technology in a sense that can be compatible with the LTE faster tech and this will work well in Asia.
For the USA users, the only LTE option is to select from the Snapdragon 600 powered device as it can be used on all seven networks capable of carrying the device. It might be bad news for those planning to purchase an unlocked Exynos model and use it with compatible LTE.
Apart from that, all other features are the same for both models. They have same 5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED panel, 2GB of RAM, 2,600mAh battery,13MP rear camera and 2MP front-facing camera.

Both versions of Galaxy S4 devices can be unlocked to work with compatible GSM networks.

Apple finally launched its highly anticipated 7 inch tablet with the name of iPad Mini. The market of 7 inch tablets has also become quite saturated now, with tablets from Samsung, Amazon, Google and Apple, all with highly impressive technical specs and wide user base. While the 10 inch version of iPad happens to be the most popular tablet of all time, the actual worth of the 7 inch version if yet to be decided, although predictions of its success are being made by most tech analysts.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, on the other hand, is the second generation version of the 7 inch tablet from tablet and is quite popular in the market, although not as much as Amazon Kindle Fire and Google Nexus 7. Although the resolution of the IPL LCD display of iPad mini at 1,024 x 768 pixels is better than the resolution of Samsung Tab at 1,024 x 600 pixels, Galaxy tab has better pixel density of 169ppi compared to iPad’s 162ppi.

With respect to storage, Galaxy Tab is available in two models of 16 GB and 32 GB while iPad Mini is available in three models of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. However, the internal memory of Galaxy Tab can be expanded up to 64GB using the microSD card while no such facility is available with the iPad. Moving on to the processing power, both devices are almost equally effective on this front. Galaxy Tab comes with dual core 1GHz processor while iPad mini is equipped with dual core A5 processor which is almost equally efficient.

Talking about the software and operating systems, Galaxy Tab comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and so far there is no word as to whether it would have Jelly Bean update or not. iPad Mini, on the other hand, runs in the latest Apple mobile platform, iOS6. While the freedom offered by Android is valued by a large number of customers, there are many who prefer the large number of quality apps available on iOS.

With respect to the primary camera, iPad has an edge over Galaxy Tab with a 5 megapixel back end camera, compared to Tab’s 3 megapixel camera. iPad also has 1.2 megapixel front facing camera while Galaxy Tab is equipped with a basic VGA front facing camera. Finally, Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 is a bit moderately priced compared to iPad Mini. The 8 GB of model of Galaxy Tab is available at £199 for WiFi only version while the price of 16GB WiFi version is as high as £399. iPad Mini, on the other hand, costs up to £529 for the 64GB WiFi and 4G enabled version. So while iPad Mini has an edge over Galaxy Tab when it comes to technical specs, Galaxy Tab can be a good option for people with a rather limited budget.

Before Samsung confirmed the existence of a mini Galaxy S3, many people speculated that it would be just like the bigger version of S3, in terms of design as well as features. However, it seems that while the design of the two devices would be quite similar, the features in the smaller version have been toned down to quite an extent. With respect to the design, the home screen button and the curved back the phone is very similar to its big brother, Galaxy S3.

The smaller body of mini Galaxy S3 comes with a 4 inch Super AMOLED display, although the resolution has been toned down to 480 x 800 pixels. Remaining technical specs of the device have also been toned down and people who were expecting that no change other than size would take place would have to face a bit of a disappointment. Unlike the larger version, this one would come with a 1 GHz dual core processor along with a RAM memory of 1GB. The actual Galaxy S3, on the other hand, is equipped with a quad core Exynos processor. Further, Galaxy S3 mini would be available in two choices of 8 GB and 16 GB. Besides, internal memory can be expanded up to 32 GB with the help of the microSD card.

The primary camera on the mini version of Galaxy S3 would be 5 mega pixels, unlike the 8 mega pixel camera on the standard version. This camera would capture videos in 720p format and would also have LED flash. Besides, there would also be another VGA front facing camera onboard.

When it comes to the operating system, good news is that this phone even surpasses the original version of Galaxy S3. Although there are not a variety of software features that are found on the larger version, it would come with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean unlike the larger phone which comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. SIM-free version of mini Galaxy S3 is available at a price of £300.

Bottom line is that, while there are a few similarities such as design in the two devices, the features of the larger and smaller versions of Galaxy S3 are significantly different. From its features, we can adjust the mini version in the domain of mid-range devices.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2, which has quite appropriately been called the most powerful smart phone, is now also available in Titanium Grey color scheme in addition to already existent Marble White color on O2. Besides, pre-orders for the device under contract with O2 are also open and a phone with no initial payment is available at £36 per month. This package, with its facility of unlimited minutes and unlimited SMS and 2GB of inclusive data is certainly quite impressive.

The first generation version of Galaxy Note was quite successful in the market and certain improvements in the technical specs were made in the second generation version. The technical specs of the new version include a 5.6 inch super AMOLED HD display, a fast 1.6 GHz quad core processor, and 2 GB of RAM memory. The operating system for this massive smart phone, as expected, happens to be Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Besides, a wide range of useful apps from Google Play and Samsung app store are also available on the device. Many of these apps have been particularly designed to utilize the power of the S-Pen efficiently, which includes handwriting, drawing and cropping images to be used in emails, messages and social networks.

There would be an 8 mega pixel back end camera onboard with the facility of full HD video recording in 1080p format. Besides, there is also a 2 mega pixel front facing camera for video conferencing and chatting. Due to its large surface, this device is being called a ‘Phablet’, which means a cross between a tablet and a phone. The large surface makes it useful for a wide range of applications such as watching films and playing games, other than doing the usual tasks. Pre-orders for the device are being taken on the websites of major retailers.

Due to the massive 1.6 GHz processor, this phone is being called the most powerful phone in the market. The high processing power also makes it extremely useful for gamers and users of high end graphics. In comparison, iPhone 5 has a 1 GHz processor while Samsung Galaxy S3 comes with 1.4 GHz dual core processor. So clearly the processing power of Galaxy Note is much better than any other smart phone available in the market at present.

The head of Samsung Mobile, J K Shin has predicted that Samsung would manage to ship around 20 million units of the phone. This doesn’t seem very far-fetched since the first generation version of the phone managed to sell 10 million units even though predictions by many analysts were that it would be a failure.

Unlock Samsung Galaxy Note 2

You can unlock Galaxy Note 2 with us and take full benefit of it. Once you have the unlock code, your phone will be unlocked for ever and you can use it in any compatible mobile network .

The recent legal battle between Apple and Samsung has made one thing clear: Samsung needs some kind of a trade mark body for its Galaxy devices. The shapes of the Galaxy phones from first to third generation have been altered significantly and, as one tech source commented, smart phones are looking more like identical twins with nothing remarkable. So what Samsung needs is a new design philosophy that differentiates its handsets from Apple’s iPhone.

Samsung should follow the line of a new trademark design upon the release of the next version of Galaxy phone, or third generation Galaxy Note, or the next model of Galaxy Nexus. A judge has already ruled that there are similarities between the design of Samsung and Apple devices, and so if Samsung wants to continue selling its devices, it would have to come up with a new design strategy for its smart phones. Apparently Samsung did copy some of the features of iPhone, considering the immense popularity of the device, but now the situation has to change. Samsung’s devices are selling very well and Galaxy S3 has proven to be a blockbuster. Samsung now does not need any similar material and should focus on its own brand new design.

The new design can be adopted in several ways. For example, Samsung could choose to adopt unique casings or colors for its phones, or it could also change the look by decorating the faceplates of the phones. A trademark look of the device which instantly brings the word “Samsung” in the mind of the customer the moment they look at a Samsung phone would be very effective. The recent lawsuit revealed that Samsung probably copied about 13 of Apple patents, which has also endangered the sale of Samsung devices in several countries. This situation certainly demands that Samsung comes up with something totally original.

Among other supposedly copied patents, there is D305, which is related to the famous grid of squares against a black background found on the home screens of Apple devices. This is one of the trademarks of Apple, and if some other company wants to adopt it, certain changes in the grid or the shape of the icons should be brought. Coming with a personalized design philosophy with a unique style is something that would take Samsung devices to a whole new level.

The second generation version of the famed “phablet” from Samsung, Galaxy Note 2, was launched during the Samsung Mobile Unpacked event in Berlin on 29th of August. This smart phone, together with Samsung Galaxy S3, can be considered among the very best devices that the company has launched so far.

The physical structure of Galaxy Note 2 is quite similar to Galaxy S3 and it seems that Note 2 is just the bigger version of S3, although there are several differences with respect to the technical specs. Starting from the processors and the operating systems, Galaxy Note 2 would come with 1.6 GHz quad core processor, running Android Jelly Bean. Galaxy S3, on the other hand, would come with 1.5 GHz dual core processor and the operating system so far is Ice Cream Sandwich, although Jelly Bean update would soon be made available.

The similarities between both handsets are that they are both equipped with 8 mega pixel rare end camera and 1.9 mega pixel front end cameras. Besides, both devices have support for 4G LTE networks. Galaxy Note 2 would come in three models: 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB, while Galaxy S3 would be available in two models of 16 GB and 32 GB.

The main and the most prominent difference is, of course, the size of Galaxy Note 2. Besides, the presence of the S Pen for Note 2 is also one crucial difference. Comparing the sizes of the two devices, Galaxy Note 2 is a giant device with a display of 5.5 inches, much bigger than the 4.8 inch display of Galaxy S3. The large size of Galaxy Note has given it the name of “phablet”, which means a cross between a tablet and a smart phone. Other important distinguishing feature is the S Pen, which turns the Galaxy Note into a digital notepad. The device lets you jolt down notes any time anywhere, and thanks to the S Pen, you can also draw images just like on a drawing paper. A variety of S Pen specific apps would also be available that would make the use of the gadget even more fun.

Galaxy Note would be particularly of appeal to those users who would like to have the phone and tablet experience with a single device. So far, no information has been revealed regarding the price and carrier information of Galaxy Note 2. As for Galaxy S3, it would be available at a price starting from $199 under contract with all the major US carriers.

Unlock Samsung Galaxy Note 2

After a few weeks from the release date you can unlock Samsung Galaxy Note 2 with us at a very low cost. After you receive the code for your phone you can unlock it for ever and use it in any compatible mobile network.
You can also unlock Samsung Galaxy S3 and take full benefit of it. You don’t need technical background for this procedure and you have to pay only $ 19.75.

With the passage of time, more and more information keeps popping up regarding the upcoming Windows 8 phones from Samsung. Previously, the known information was that these two devices are named Samsung Odyssey and Samsung Macro and that Samsung Odyssey would be equipped with LTE and would also be the first Windows 8 smart phones from T-Mobile. Recently, detailed information has emerged about both these devices which sheds light on their technical specs and prices.

To start with, the model numbers of Samsung Odyssey and Samsung Macro are GT-i8750 and GT-i370 respectively. The rumored technical specs of Samsung Odyssey include a 4-8inch Super AMOLED HD touch screen, 1.5 GHz dual-core Krait processor, 8 megapixel rear end camera, 1.9 megapixel front end camera and internal storage capacity of 16 or 32 GB. Internal storage could also be expanded with the help of the microSD card. The price of Samsung Odyssey would be roughly between $615 to $738.

There is not much of a difference between the technical specs of Samsung Odyssey and Macro. Samsung Macro is rumored to come with 4-inch Super AMOLED WVGA touchscreen and 5 mega pixel rear end camera. Rest of the specs pretty much remain the same. The operating system on both devices, of course, would be Windows 8 which has received highly positive reviews from tech analysts. Price of Samsung Macro would most probably be between $431 to $554.

As is evident from the information, Samsung Odyssey would be a high end Windows 9 based smart phone while Samsung Macro would fall in the mid range category. Most probably, both these devices would be launched at the same time during some Samsung event in the fall of this year. If these devices are actually launched before the end of the year and if they prove to be successful, this would certainly turn out to be a great year for Samsung. Clearly Samsung intends to increase its share in the domain of Windows 8 based smartphones, a domain in which we don’t have many quality devices and there is certainly a scope for competition. So far, general consensus is that Nokia Lumia devices are the best Windows based devices in the market, particularly the last one in the series. With the launch of Samsung devices, Nokia should expect tough competition.

After a week or two after the relase date you can unlock Samsung Odyssey with us and take full benefit of it. You can also unlock Samsung Macro from home, very quick and at a very good price, only $ 19.75.

Apple is consistently pursuing Samsung on copy-right infringement cases and after scores of battles that we have seen in past, Apple now intends to start one on Samsung Galaxy S3. While many US users are excited that the device would soon be released for the US market, Apple has started trying its best to keep it out of the US. Apple has said that the latest Samsung flagship infringes on two of its patents, both related to software. According to the stance of Apple, Galaxy S3 contains two features which are already under dispute with respect to Galaxy Nexus and are hence infringement of copy rights.

The two patents under objection from Apple are the US patent no. 8,086,604 and no. 5,946,647. Both these patents are for “unified search” and “links for structures.” According to the official schedule announced previously by Samsung, Galaxy S3 would simultaneously hit all five major carriers of the US on 21st of June but after this latest move from Apple, the situation seems to be a bit uncertain. Apple has accused several previous devices of Samsung of infringing upon the copyrights and making devices that are slavish copies of Apple devices such as iPhone and iPad.

According to a Samsung spokesman “Samsung believes Apple’s request is without merit. We will vigorously oppose the request and demonstrate to the court that the Galaxy S3 is innovative and distinctive.” He further said that the launch of Galaxy S3 as planned for the US market would go according to the schedule. Apple’s action, he said, would only disrupt the consumer’s access to the latest and innovative technology. Galaxy S3 has been receiving highly positive and appreciate response from the users of the countries where it has so far been released.

Apple, on the other hand, has stated that it is no co-incidence that latest Samsung devices look a lot like Apple iPhone and iPad, to the minutest details. This kind of blatant infringement of copyrighted material, according to Apple, is wrong and should stop. With this latest lawsuit, the number of lawsuits existing between Apple and Samsung has further increased and it seems that this war would not end at least in near future.

There are not any two opinions about the fact that Samsung Galaxy S3 is the most coveted and anticipated device in the market at present. As per Samsung’s promise, the sale of Galaxy S3 started in European market from 28th of May. Along with Europe, the sale would also continue in the Middle East. By the end of July, the device would be available from about 300 mobile operators all over the world. Samsung’s exclusive music service would also be available to the buyers of this device in five European countries. These countries are : Germany, France, Spain, Italy and Britain, where Galaxy S3 users would have an access to Samsung Music Hub. Music Hub is similar to Apple’s iTunes where users can listen and purchase music. According to Samsung, the service at present has a catalog of about 19 million songs.

A key difference between iPhone and Galaxy phones is that while Apple has retained the original size of the screen in the successive models of iPhone, Samsung has constantly increased the size with each new model. The latest model of Galaxy phone has a screen size that is about twice as much as that of iPhone. Galaxy S3 has a screen of 4.8 inch and incorporates exciting features such as voice recognition and eye-movement detection. There are free as well as paid versions of the music service. With the paid version, users can upload and store music files on servers which can then be accessed from more than one internet-connected device at a price of euro 9.99 per month.

Samsung has developed its music service in collaboration with mSpot Inc., a Palo Alto, California based provider of music and movie streaming services. This company was acquired by Samsung recently. Quite expectedly, the operating system for this giant device happens to be Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

A remarkable point to be noted is that Samsung has overtaken Apple in smart phone sales during the first three months of this year, and this has happened for the first time. During the first quarter of 2012, Samsung has sold about 44.5 million smart phones, compared to Apple’s figure of 35.1 million. We are expecting the updated version of iPhone from Apple this summer or fall. According to the sources, Apple might announce the next version of iPhone during its annual conference of developers next month.
