It appears that Samsung has once again won the bidding for the next major Google Nexus phone which would be most probably released by the end of this year or the start of the next one. According to the resources, Google still trusts Samsung and has decided to get the next Nexus device manufactured by Samsung. The first Nexus phone was manufactured by HTC which was then followed by two Nexus smart phones from Samsung, named Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus. So the rumors about Samsung Galaxy S3 are still in the air and we have all new rumors about another major device.
The collaboration between Google and Samsung has been working very well over the last couple of years. Samsung has manufactured two major Nexus devices and has been using Google Android for almost all of its major smart phones. Besides, Android has been good luck charm for Samsung and Samsung has earned well due to the immense popularity of Android.
However, people were expecting that Google might choose some other tech giant to team up for the next Nexus phone since the last one did not do as well in the market as was expected. Before the release of the device, it was predicted to be the closest rival of iPhone but it couldn’t stand up to the expectations due to some sour points such as the battery life. There were also rumors that Google might team up with Motorola for the next Nexus phone but it appears that they do not carry any weight. Besides, there were also speculations that ASUS might be developing the next “Nexus Tablet” in collaboration with Google but once again, there is not any confirmation on this as well. But according to the sources, this phone has not yet even entered in the production phase so depending too much on these rumors would be unwise. Google might decide to choose some other tech giant in the coming months. So instead of paying too much attention to the rumors about next Nexus phone, let us instead wait for the immediate big event, that is, the release of Samsung Galaxy S3 on May 3 Samsung Unpacked Event.
