Samsung Galaxy S3 or LG Optimus LTE 2

Samsung Galaxy S3 or LG Optimus LTE 2

Samsung recently launched its Galaxy S3, probably the most anticipated Android based smart phone of this year so far. However, there are others who are also planning to have their fair market share. Among them happens to be LG who has recently emerged out of the loss that it was undergoing for seven straight quarters. With a streak of some fine mid range and high end devices, LG has been doing pretty good in the market these days. The company launched its high end LG Optimus LTE 2 on the same day Galaxy S3 was launched so this device can be considered a direct rival of Galaxy S3. The device has some very impressive technical specs, but whether it would be able to compete Galaxy S3 successfully or not, is a matter of time.

Some of the prominent technical specs of LG Optimus LTE 2 include 2 GB of RAM memory which can be considered the main attraction for this device, dual core processor, 4.7-inch “True HD IPS” display, 2150mAH battery and the capability of wireless charging.

RAM is important when it comes to Android based smart phones since Android consumes a lot of RAM. On this front, LG Optimus LTE 2 has a clear advantage with a massive 2 GB of RAM memory. But still, there are many aspects of Galaxy S3 which make it a much superior device. Samsung has incorporated some of the finest technical specs in Galaxy S3 which cannot be found in almost any other Android based device in the market at present, including Optimus LTE 2. However, those users who take a lot of use form their smart phones, particularly playing high resolution games and watching high definition videos, would certainly like to have Optimus LTE 2. 2 GB of RAM memory is certainly something that can attract a lot of users and LG phones have been very successful in the market lately. So we can assume that this device would give a reasonably tough time to Samsung Galaxy S3. With the passage of time, Samsung has also been developing a loyal user base and it would be virtually impossible to make those users prefer Optimus LTE 2 over Galaxy S3. So far, LG has announced this device for the Korean market. As for the European and North American market, we can expect it soon, although there is no official word from LG so far.
