Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini vs HTC One Mini

Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini spotted

We’re witnessing the year of rivalry between HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4 and now both HTC and Samsung companies are planning to release new flagships, mini versions of Galaxy S4 and HTC One, possible with the names of Galaxy S4 Mini and HTC One Mini. HTC and Samsung are playing the major part in the race of Android smartphones and are appearing as the main competitors of Apple’s iPhone 5. Both Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One possess very powerful software. We expect their smaller versions would also present some great technology.

HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4 smatrphones are equipped with powerful software (Nature UX and Sense 5 respectively) and impressive hardware and the devices are available on LTE carriers in US. Smaller versions of both smartphones are about to launch in coming months. There are some rumors that Samsung Galaxy S4 mini will be launched soon and HTC M4 will appear as the smaller version of HTC One, dubbed HTC One Mini. It seems HTC and Samsung are going to spend large budge in releasing the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini and the HTC One Mini this summer and certainly will catch great traffic as both devices are worthy smartphones, anxiously awaited.

HTC M4 or HTC One Mini

HTC M4 or HTC One Mini, however this smaller version of HTC One will be called, will have little downgraded specifications, available at a lower price. As for the design, we are expecting a similar ultra finish design with premium aluminum case for HTC’s M4 body. HTC M4 will incorporate stereo speakers below and above the display, camera flash above the lens on the back and large Beats Audio logo to replace the text of “One”.
We’ll probably see the same Sense 5 UI and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean software with HTC’s Blinkfeed on a 4.3-inch screen, working at a 720p display and the following features: dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM with 16GB of internal memory and a powerful 1,700mAh battery, UltraPixel camera, still no expandable memory slot card.

As for the Galaxy S4 Mini it is expected with the same design lines of Galaxy S4, so you’ll have to wait the Galaxy Note 3 to see some innovations in Samsung’s smartphones design. Galaxy S4 Mini will feature a Super AMOLED 4.3″ screen, working on a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels (256 pixels per inch density), dual-core processor 1.6 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, 8 MP camera, 8, 16 or 32 GB of internal storage and card expandable memory. The mini S4 will be available in Black Mist and White Frost colors and will run the latest Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean version.

HTC One Mini nailed for a late Q2 launch is expected in June and Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini is arranging to be launched in July but there are no final words about the exact releasing dates.. The rumors says that HTC and Samsung will not launch their mini devices on the same date and they will look for carriers that will not release them on the same date.

Though the prices of both HTC One Mini and Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini were not confirmed yet, it is likely that we’ll have similar competitive prices for both Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini and HTC One Mini, between $100 and $150, on contract. The carriers will have the final decision on pricing but anyway it is expected that they will be available at cheaper rates compared to HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4 flagships. The Galaxy S4 is available at five major U.S carriers while the HTC One is only available with AT&T, T-Moblie, Sprint and a smaller carrier in Cincinnati Bell.

If you are stuck with one of these carriers and you need more freedom, don’t forget that you can unlock both HTC One and Galaxy S4 devices, to work with any compatible GSM networks. Same is the case for Galaxy S4 Mini and HTC One Mini or M4!
